For those who tend to mix up the Weaver brothers, Jered is the better one. He's 9-6, 3.22, 1.09 in 2010.
RS and L-girl are traveling. I'll see them tomorrow.
LBJ was 1-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base in Fort Meyers today.

Someone, please try a post, and e-mail me if it doesn't go through.
This is a test. It is only a test. If this had been an actual comment by me, it would have arrived at some wierd hour of the morning after the game is over and everyone sane is asleep
Worked
Btw Zen, have you seen the docu video that came out with the Exile re-release. Watched it Sunday evening at a friend's house. Pretty damn entertaining I must say
I have not seen it. I am not a big Stones fan necessarily, I just followed RS in the avatar change. But I'm interested nonetheless.
Line up is getting closer to normal! Now if we could just get Petey and LBJ back in there, wheeeee!
I did, however, watch the Rush documentary Beyond the Lighted Stage, which was a ball.
Yanks and Sox apparently sniffing around excellent Toronto left-handed reliever Scott Downs.
Good to see MFY lose.
Pick up a game now, bosox.
I really don't want to drink, but apparently my theory is golden so far. When my BAC is above 0 and I am watching the game, we are undefeated since I discovered this about a week ago.
Game time! Too bad it is also almost bed time. Just when IS this road trip over?
And the comments are appearing tonight! Hallelujah!
And the Jedi has returned!
I think comment moderation had not been turned off, or something, last night. It was strange. I thought the thread was just dead, lol.
too many baserunners, not enough runs.
fix that, beltre!
Opportunity for some RUNS.
Lots of action to third base.
not that way.
From Extra Bases:
Mike Lowell is 3 for 4 for Triple-A Pawtucket with three home runs and five RBIs tonight at Toledo.
His night:
First inning: Two-run homer to left
Third inning: Solo homer to left
Fifth inning: Fly ball to center
Eighth inning: Two-run homer to left center
Sweet, sign him up! Except theres nowhere for him to play...
Or trade him for matt capps!
Personally I've never seen somebody go on such a crazy tear in a rehab stint in my life.
Lots of action at 3rd that 1st inning I see. Odd wording on V-Mart's at-bat. I assume he reached because Callaspo threw to 2nd and didn't get the runner?
OTT!
Jered Weaver puts the "dumb" in dumbbell.
Coach visit after 2 strike-outs?
mmmmmm, I guess that's what you were commenting on, eh Ish?
Wouldn't mind seeing one of those rally-killing home runs right here :)
alas....
Remy was talking about how pitchers "hit the weights" and all they really do is use dumbbells to strengthen the arm, especially the rotator cuff (why the eff does it think I spelled "rotator" wrong?!) so I had that as material to work with.
Darnell was a late addition to the lineup so I'm sure Butcher was going over the scouting report to him. That worked well. Only not.
So twice we have left two on base. Perhaps now that I cam going to bed, the team will actually drive some of these guys in?
Good night, all.
Actually it was bases loaded in the first.
Not to nit pick or anything...:)
Nite nite Amy. Sleep tight!
Catch the ball!
Good night Amy. I'm not far behind you.
2 k's in each of the last 2 innings. Hard to score much like that
eggggselent!!!
Fricking Abreau.
C'mon Lackey, suck it up
Coulda been worse.
Runs plz
We sure know how to make Weaver look like a stud
It's a start
Squander :(
Got a chance here!
Like that! Jedi power!
SCORE!
A Torii Hunter trademarked catch. Wow.
Surprised to see Lackey still in there.
What is it with Pitch #124 for Red Sox pitchers? Jon Lackey's final pitch the other night that did him in was #124.
Bard - good call.
Have I mentioned lately that he's a Tarheel? :)
Pitching around him?
Not sure I like that approach.
Brings the go-ahead run to the plate
OK, who cares what I like?
It worked
Nice to see we're ahead. Been fetching food and such. I've been very encouraged by Lowrie's return, having seen his first game live.
Go go go.
C'mon Ortiz. They're dissing ya man. Make that 15 minute call. We need a little insurance.
Shift THAT!
Buy more insurance...at VMart!
H2O.
Nice. Papelbon seems to be warming up. He only needed 9 pitches to seal the deal on this one.
Perhaps some day he'll even manage to restore himself to amy's good graces.
I wouldn't count on it thouigh.
Regardless, we have Dirty Pacific Water!
So dirty.
lolz
"I'm an athlete, man. I'm a speed killer, whenever I feel like it," quipped Ortiz.
The Chin with the Win.
